Ignition coil VW Passat B5 GP Estate (3BG, 3B6)

Before you start replacing components, make absolutely sure that you have disconnected the negative terminal from the battery: performing any work with live high-voltage wires is dangerous.

During installation of coils, never use impact tools. They are to be installed with hands only. Tightening threaded joints will require a torque wrench.

To protect wires from oxidation, treat their ends with grease for electrical contacts.

Start the engine and assess its operation. If installation of the component on the VW PASSAT Variant (3B6) vehicle has been performed correctly, the engine should run smoothly and without interruptions.

Clear the diagnostic trouble code on the VW PASSAT Variant (3B6) car onboard computer with a special diagnostic scanner that can be found at a service station.
